We are passionate about providing great services that will help you achieve better health.
I was first introduced to chiropractic care in the summer of 1996. My mother suffered severe whiplash and neurological problems as a result of a traumatic motor vehicle accident. A drunk driver ran a stop sign hitting her on the passenger side. By accompanying my mother as a translator and interacting with her Chiropractor, I learned first hand about the importance of spine and nervous system health on a person’s quality of life. During many months of rehabilitation, chiropractic care made drastic improvements to my mother’s overall health. Her neck pain and headaches lessened; the numbness in her arms and hands improved; all of which lessened her need for the harmful drugs prescribed by her family doctor and medical specialists. It was this experience with my family that instilled a desire in me to change my pursuit of becoming a dentist, and provide care for suffering people like my mother by becoming a chiropractor without the use of drugs or surgery.
I finished my undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta and continued my graduate studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic West graduating with high honors. As a result of my personal experience with my family regarding car accidents, I completed special studies at the Spine Institute in San Diego, CA on Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology.
Being on the forefront of the most cutting edge technologies has become the focus of my desire; and being able to offer these treatments for patients who suffer from acute to chronic pain has become my passion.
I have made Abbotsford my home since 2003 and enjoy living and serving in the Fraser Valley with my beautiful wife Marissa, and our two amazing children. This wonderful community has given me much and has enabled me to fulfill my goal and vision of building a modern, fully equipped Chiropractic clinic. I feel extremely blessed to have the privilege of giving back to its diverse people by providing quality, effective evidence-based Chiropractic and Medical care.
I am an Abbotsford local, born and raised in this beautiful city. I completed my undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley and continued my graduate studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California.
My passion for sport led me to my first involvement with chiropractic. While looking for options to alleviate my injuries, I found a chiropractor and got started on my recovery. I was so impressed with how drastically I was seeing improvement in my rehab, I wanted to learn more about this profession. What I learned blew my expectations out of the water! I was surprised to see a waiting room that wasn’t full of just athletes, but of people from all walks of life. I saw people looking happy and healthy after seeing them carefully maneuver into a treatment room. This created a desire to not just look at chiropractic, but to dive into what chiropractic really is. The more I learned, the more I fell in love with the profession. It didn’t take long before I knew this was what I wanted to do.
Today, my purpose is to help people live their best life by restoring optimal movement and function. As a chiropractor, I use evidence based techniques to find the root cause of a problem and focus on preventative care to minimize future injury. I encourage my patients to take on an active role in their treatment and recovery by explaining to them their diagnosis and going through the treatment protocol.
I look forward to seeing new faces, running into familiar ones and serving our community; The City in the Country.
After living in many places throughout Canada, I have called Abbotsford home since 1988. When I am not working, I love being outdoors with my husband and our two boys, whether biking, hiking or just going for a walk.
As a young girl, I watched how RMT benefited my mom. I was amazed at how it not only improved her overall quality of life, but also helped to resolve her debilitating tendonitis. This experience inspired me to pursue a career as a Registered Massage Therapist. While pursuing that goal, I encountered a number of obstacles, but my desire to help others, as my mom had been helped, gave me the strength I needed to persevere.
As an RMT, what you get from me is a personal experience where you are heard. You can trust that I will do everything possible to help you achieve your health care goals.
I’ve been a part of Cascadia since 2014 and am proud to be a part of what we do here. I love talking to potential new patients and informing them of what they can expect from us. I love meeting new patients on their first visit, knowing that what ever brought them here to begin with is going to improve. I love the look on the face of patients as they recover from injuries, learn and understand the importance of committing to their ongoing care and as a result, become a part of our Cascadia family.
I love our team and the family away from home we’ve created. I work with some of the most wonderful people you will ever meet and am grateful for each one of them. I wouldn’t want to be doing this with anyone else!
Abbotsford has been home to me since 1997 and I’m glad this is where my husband and I choose to raise our family. When not at work, I spend as much time with my family and friends as possible. With the “empty nest” just a few years away, I make the most of anytime I have with my girls while they are still home with us and enjoy the every moment with our son when he comes home to visit!
I have been a part of the Cascadia team since 2013. I was born in Saskatchewan but moved to Abbotsford right before high school and have been here ever since. I now live with my husband, our dog Chester and our two energetic boys.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, enjoying life and watching my sons grow. I would love to start drawing again but also like fashion, decorating, movies, and trying new things. I’ve earned a Medical Office Assistant Certificate and through Cascadia Chiropractic enjoy seeing patients accelerate their life through our office’s care.
I am the newest addition to the Cascadia team as of May and I love working with this team! I am a people person so I love the constant connections with people and the joy that this office brings.
I grew up in Ontario and moved to BC 6 years ago for school. This is where I met my husband, who is also from Ontario, and after school we bought our first house! We love Abbotsford and are so excited that this is where we get to call home. The mountains and the culture drew us in, and we are here to stay.
Outside of work I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, the outdoors, my beloved plants and coffee!
I joined Cascadia in September, 2018 and enjoy meeting new people and interacting with all the patients. We have a lot of fun in the office both with the staff and the patients which makes coming to work extra delightful.
I grew up in southern Alberta and moved to BC with my husband in 2015. Although we miss our families, we really enjoy not having to shovel rain and love the beautiful city of Abbotsford. I have 3 grown children, a daughter who lives here in BC, and 2 sons in Alberta, along with 2 grandchildren. My only children now are our 2 very demanding dogs.
When I’m not working, I enjoy gardening, reading, watching movies and spending time with friends.
My name is Shane and I have been working with the Cascadia team since 2008. I was born in Burnaby and grew up in Surrey and Langley. I have been working with computer consultation and Information Technology for 27 years. My job in the office is to keep all the technology running smoothly so that the team is able to make your visit a smooth problem free experience.
I have lived in Abbotsford for 5 years. When I am not working I am spending time at home with my wife and children.
